Seriously, this is what makes the conversation flow. You can literally talk about the most random shit and attract a girl across the room with this. For example in class today:

Girl: she trips on my shoe

Me: looks away. (I did this before for a good reason. If I did it after it would be weakness, I just calibrated because I knew she did it on purpose and was going to talk to me)

Girl: "UMMM, YOU JUST TRIPPED ME"

Me: (1 second pause) I make a light smile and say "excuse me"

Girl: she rolls her eyes as if im trying and our eyes meet. She smiles and says "oh I'm just joking with you"

Me: squint eyes barely (this makes it seem as if I didn't get that)

Girl: "I mean, I'm sorry"

Me: haha, ok what's your name. I lean back, hand out in a friendly gesture Girl: she relaxes and gives me her name.

We talked for awhile but looking back on it, it shows how my body language was what made the conversation become what it did. Figured I'd share, because body language is just so powerful and I feel like we don't focus on it enough.
