My friends seem able to do it unconsciously and with very little effort. I make sure I'm flirty, funny, touchy, and I only text them when I want to set up a date. Why do girls never stick with me?

Looks like you're putting too much effort in trying to attract them, and this collapse after a while. Focus on yourself. That's how you attract effortlessly.

Probably because you only text them for a date. I like to send hilarious pics every few weeks or text about weed I got or group events I'll be at (not dates). Texting should never be mundane or about pointless bullshit but there's a middle ground you should try to find if you are looking for fwbs instead on ons
