Personally, I think you need to be upfront about your dating goals before kissing. It may be scaring your dates off as they may have thought about wanted something more since nothing about “non serious” was mentioned until the bedroom; therefore cuz of this abruptness , when/after kissing, it makes it come off as they were being scouted out/used just for sex or something in the near future even if you had good intentions.

However I will say that your not necessarily doing anything wrong, it can just genuinely be hard to get to the next step. I respect the choice to be friend like and take on dates before hand, I just think it’s about the delivery of it. I don’t know if this applies to your situation but if you’re using dating apps, definitely put your goals or something of sort in profile about short term or non serious, etc.

Don't say anything about a relationship or otherwise and let the interaction flow. I would in my dating days meet someone and go for a picnic or something outdoors. This would lead to a kiss and then next time you can invite the to your place or dinner and take it from there

After kissing her once, kissing her again throughout the date is no big deal, and you can invite her back to your place and most likely not be denied. Once you make out with a woman on a date, you can safely invite her back to your place and reduce the likelihood of being denied. Escalating is all on you, so after your make out, continue being seductive and make up and excuse to go back to your place, just tell her you want her to meet your pet or to watch a movie or something.

why does it even take you 2-3 dates to kiss her?

I always escalate to kissing on the first date and about half of the first dates even ends with sex right away. Waiting for 3 dates just to kiss is a waste of time. Especially if you are not interested in the relationship itself and only want to have sex.
