So basically I got out a long-term relationship and now I'm in my early 20's, at uni, not having a clue how to flirt/talk to women because I've never had to do it. Not bad looking though I am slim, quite an achiever, got a ton of hobbies. The problem is I'm "too serious" and don't know how to convey my fun-side.

Tinder I get a number of matches but no dates, occasional number but they flake. My conversations are quite mundane "How was your day" type crap. I've tried a few openers which have worked but don't know how to escalate from there, and women in my area are a bit too cautious and there's been a number of times I've gone for the number after a good chat only to be unmatched/ignored.

I've met up with ONE girl on Tinder in the space of a year. I'm a confident guy in the sense that I can meet up with a girl one-to-one for drinks and have a conversation, but I'm not doing enough to build rapport and/or escalate to something intimate. It's a catch-22; I have no confidence with women because I have little experience with women, but I can't get experience with women because I don't have the confidence around them. I can chat forever about their hobbies, travel plans, uni life what have you but it's all just that...conversation. No flirting etc. I do make them laugh though.

TLDR: Useless with women, can't get dates/casual sex.
