I(30m) have been doing cold approaches since college. Although Its been 10 years, 5 of them were in prison so they don't really count. And one thing I can say I've got down is the basics for sure. I've been in the learning stages of getting better day 2's and lays. With cold approaches I've got very little approach anxiety. I'm going in solo into mix sets and sets of 4 of more girls and coming out with a # about 1/3 of the time which I think is pretty good especially since I don't really see many guys get that far period. I average about 3-5 numbers a night. Cold approaches are now exciting to me, I've found confidence and nerve by just sheer repetition and numbers. I've heard and seen pretty much anything that a girl can do to you in a set. These things make it feel invigorating when I push my comfort zone or get into strange sticky situations because I know its jut another EXP point towards my Game Level.
So the main lesson I want to contribute and share with my fellow comrades is how insane and rewarding it is to learn a style of game that lets you pick up girls on public transportation. I pretty much # close a girl on a bus or train about once every 3 weeks. I've picked up a few tricks and noticed a few facts along the way that I think will be beneficial to you guys, But doing something and teaching that thing are two different skills. So I will try my best to make sure this is explained in a way that helps more than confuses people, so here we go.
Its not something I make completely happen, its more about having the skill and using it when the opportunity presents itself. So you could even say its a brisk approach rather than cold. This is because I've learned to wait for and spot indicators of interest. Or at least try to elicit them through this rather complicated eye contact game people play with each other on the train. You could write a whole book on the intricacies and rituals to flirting with eye contact. First thing I do is find out if she's noticed me on the train and where I currently stand in the hierarchy of looks within the subway cart/platform. I do something I call shifting. Ill shift my position or face my hips closer to her to watch if she does the same. It's so silly when you see how well this works. If she's been watching you out the corner of her eye then like clock work she will fix herself/hair or shift her position moments after you do. She will mirror you. Play with or fix your hair and she will reciprocate after like this short delay. Once I notice this my eye contact gets more direct. Since I can pretty much time it to when she moves I can act like her shift in motion is what calls my attention to directly look at her for the "first" time. A lot of this is just making up good plausible excuses to make it seem as normal and not "gamey" or sleezy. A girl doesn't want to easily get "Bagged" on train in front of an audience. The more direct or overtly flirty I am the more resistance I encounter, But I'm jumping ahead a little here so let me return to eye contact.
- This is where the challenge begins because you need to lock eye contact. Some girls are very liberal with direct contact and some aren't. It doesn't have to do with how much they are into you more so then it has to do with how bold and not meek the girl is. the kind of eye contact I get is what's gonna tell me what to do next. Only a few times have I ever approached a girl on the subway without knowing that she's at least noticed me first. Now something important to mention is your relative distance from her. Obviously the further away she is the harder and more obvious its gonna look when you make your way to her. This is what I meant when I say this is more about seizing opportunities when they happen rather than making something happen out of nothing. Certain conditions need to be meet.
a. she needs to be sitting across from you-sitting next to you isn't too bad either but its actually harder to make eye contact because you have to turn your head. When she's directly to my left/right then I make sure to try and face my whole body in a 45 degree angle toward her and wait for her to do the same before I start trying to catch direct eye contact.
b. usually headphones are bad but not game over-Girls that are listening to headphones make it harder. So if I were you I'd wait till I get a little good at subway game first before girls with headphones. all you really need to do is wave them down and wait for them to take the headphones out before speaking( don't try wording/mouthing "hey or high" just wait till she can hear you first).
c. she is in a mixed set- Idk why but maybe it could have something to do with her image or anxious about how she appears to her guy friends getting picked up. For me personally I don't have issues with mixed sets when on the street but I do on the subway. If its not a problem for you then Kudos to you but I'll pass.
- Opener- This is the part that is easier than people make it out to be. Once we lock eyes I throw in a smile( closed mouth, tight lipped and a slight squint in it) and make sure its a bold one. This makes it so much easier to just say "hey" or use a situational opener. One time I broke the ice by trying to read the back of a girls book while she was reading. acting like I wasn't trying to really get her attention just look at the synopsis. She noticed, stopped reading and let me look at her book and talked to me( she was a French medical student that could suck my dick into another fucking dimension)

- If you've come this far- then the rest is pretty much indistinguishable from how you would normally proceed with a set. One thing I noticed though ( and this goes out to the primarily night game guys like me) is that your energy needs to be calm, talk slower than normal and even a little sensual. You need to radiate calm, not trying to escalate the interaction. There's no need to try to be the funniest or wildest like you would in a bar. don't get too excited or you'll come off weird. It can actually go TOO well. people are watching and listening. there's no reason to completely sweep her off her feet in the first interaction. Maybe this is something I'm doing wrong but I know I'm on to something with this.
I've number closed girls before and when they get off on their stop I've had the people who were listening just explode with comments of like "Niceeee" "yoo you smooth" "aww that was adorable"
nobody watches you and thinks "look at this douche". People always root me on or give me the little head nod while. watching how its done is pure gold to these guys. Don't worry about what other people are doing.
Now I know I'm a little all over the place. This is a working style with room for improvement that I'm trying to refine. I'd love some feedback from you guys!
