It seems to be that confidence is the single most important factor when it comes to flirting/seduction. You could even make the case that confidence matters in all areas of life, from a happy, stable, relationship to a successful and achieving career. That’s something I’m working on. It hurts when I say it, but I'm an extremely vulnerable and insecure person, but I’m working on it. When I meet people I always try to carry myself confidently, behaving like I’m my best self. I’m a firm believer on the “fake it till u make it” mentality, but the thing is, whenever I’m talking to a girl I’m interested in, I can be all confident, all sure of myself typaguy that knows how to throw lines and have a mild form of charisma…. I can be like that (although my social anxiety does really fuck me up sometimes), but I’m not really that. I love how it feels whenever I’m witty, whenever I make people laugh and in some way I brighten their day, I like how confidence feels, for someone as insecure as I am, that’s the best feeling in the world, but as much as I want to wear it, it just doesn’t fit. How I’m I supposed to be a man with a girl, but at the same time tell her that I’m a virgin, that I’ve never kissed or grabbed hands, that I’ve missed out on all of those things? How do I look her dead in the eye and tell her that the truth is that I do not do well socially and that I really have no friends at all?
