Well, I just read a post on here that got me thinking about myself. I certainly have a hard time with conversation, especially if it's someone I just met, or at least getting a conversation started. Once it gets going, I really have no problem because you start talking and bouncing from topic to topic, you start getting intertwined with the ideas and stuff starts to flow naturally, at least from my experiences (although not all the time, this is really only best case scenario, if I'm lucky).

Maybe I'm over thinking it. I don't think I am boring, but at the same time, I really only have a few hobbies that I am really, really passionate about. Maybe I do need to pick up another hobby or two? Is having a lot of hobbies attractive? Maybe I just need to work on my conversation skills as a whole? Anyway, I'm really just looking for any advice regarding conversation, how to start one, how to keep it going, etc..

Like I said, once a conversation gets going, I (typically) am able to gradually flow through it and continue it without any awkwardness, but a lot of the time, essentially if it is someone such as a women, whom I am meeting for the first time, it's like a hit a wall and the ideas just stop and stuff doesn't come out as naturally.
