Indian guy in Toronto? You should move out of that city, especially if your aspirations are to date white girls. Toronto, Vancouver, and San Francisco are hands down the worst cities in America for Indian guys. Indian guys have horrible reputations in those cities and the women there absolutely dislike Indian men, you're facing an uphill battle there. The Indian population of guys in those cities absolutely messed things up for you, move out!

Montreal is a gold mine for Indian guys, I saw so many of them with hot girls of different races. For some reason, the French and Indians seem to get along better than the Anglos and Indians do. I think you might even be better off in smaller Canadian cities like Calgary than Toronto.

As for your situation, I also recommend seeking help from a therapist to make sure you don't have any social anxiety and take the advice that talks about hygiene, please for the love of god wear some FUCKING DEODORANT! Work out and look your best as well, wear fitted clothes that match your appearance.

Question: Do you live in India or not? I've been in the Uk for the last 10 years and frankly as it says in most of the posts all you need to do is get out of the family home and follow most of the advice here. But I've recently come back to India and there is certainly a difference in social psychology here. As sad as this sounds class difference is a huge factor here. The social circles you hang out in determines what rules work here. The biggest fear, frankly for me, is the emotional attachment associated with sex. Culturally, sleeping with someone might lead to a fair amount of complications, not least of which is an extremely unhealthy attachment leading from sex. Funny as this sounds, Indian TV and bollywood have a huge influence. What I have figured out though is that in cities like India, cities like Bangalore, Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta one tends to find extremes. Why does being Indian matter? Living at home does complicate things a bit, but it's not impossible. I'd ask, what kind of shape are you in, how good looking would you say you are, and how highly do you think the former two things affect your confidence?

Additionally, I'd ask you what's keeping you from moving out of the house, and how mush does that affect your confidence? Women are often times attracted to guys who have their shit together, have their own apartment, good job, etc. so they feel like they can be taken care of.(My perspective as a guy into dudes)

That being said, there's a lot more to it than being Indian, or living at home, if you have confidence in who you are, what you believe in, or how you carry yourself, the former things don't actually matter as much as you believe they do.

Here's the honest, harsh truth: you are probably unattractive to women because you look like the typical Indian nerd. I've seen it a million times. Indian nerds are usually incredibly socially awkward, have boring/supplicating personalities, and oftentimes act creepy in clubs. I bet people ask you all the time if you're in IT. You need to overcome that by fighting your stereotype. You have to look "different" than the typical Indian IT nerd.

Most Indian nerds wear boring, nerdy clothes and their hair and/or beards are a mess. They also smell weird oftentimes.

What you need to do:

Dress unique and eccentric, and make sure that every hair on your face and head is accounted for. You can make being Indian work to your advantage because if you look different than anything they've ever seen you will automatically look attractive.

I also live at home so that makes going to bars and clubs difficult.

How does living at home make going to bars and clubs difficult? Do you have a curfew? Something is telling me that you're not pulling tons of girls and then having to bail because you have nowhere to take them.

Go out, meet girls, get numbers, go on dates, etc... Once you get to a point where girls are wanting to come back with you, rent an apartment on AirBNB and act like its your real apartment. But this is a bullshit excuse you're using to not go out.
