How do you motivate yourself to do this? I just feel it forced and kinda unnatural to just go out of my way and towards a girl. I mean it's easier and feel much more natural when you are approaching for a reason, like you're asking direction or a genuine question. Then you can easily extend the conversation also. For this reason I cant do many cold approaches. In the last week I just approached one girl and it was while waiting for the bus at the bus stop and I'm not even attracted to her.

Where are your favourite spots to go to do this? In Canada we have a freezing cold winter rn so no one is just chilling outside.

Hey y'all I'm Rishi from India. Living in Delhi. I'll get right to it.

Started cold approaching 3 months ago. Only went out once a week. Might have done 40-50 approaches till now. Maybe have gotten 4-5 number and insta closes. I later interacted with two of them through text and the others flaked. One of them wasn't from this city. She was leaving the very next day I met her. She genuinely seemed interested and wanted to meet but couldn't. The second one I met last week. I asked her out the next day, but she had an exam the next day so she couldn't. I didn't get back to her since because I'm really busy with my work and I genuinely hardly get time to go for daygaming once a week. I think the attraction have died till now, but I'll still try again once to be sure.

Some tips from a beginner to a complete rookie and some fellow beginners.

Approach anxiety won't be a problem when you start approaching in bulk.
I admit it's a really huge problem, especially if you're going out solo or with a wing who is also a complete (which is my case), but just remember this - fear don't respond to reasoning. It responds to action. What does this mean? Well, if you try to give yourself reasons to not be scared. That won't help your approach anxiety. It will only stop you from taking action. The fear doesn't wanna listen to your explanation of why it shouldn't be there. It only responds to action. So the next time fear kicks in, just let the chatter go on in your head. Be indifferent to it like when your mom is calling you for dinner but you're just focused on the game. You're listening to it, acknowledging it, but still playing the game. It's similar in cold approach as well. I know it's easier said than done. But you gotta do it man. Nothing matters anyway. The universe doesn't give a fuck about your approach anxiety. Why should you??

Side Note - A lot of people fear that they will get into fights, especially in India. So, lemme tell you about the first fight I had. Well, not technically me but one of my wings. So this guy's pretty good with his game. He approached a girl, had a decent conversation, and left without asking for her number because she said she is commited. After a while her fiance comes in shouting at my wing saying to his girl "yahi tha? Yahi tha?" Which means is this the guy? is this the guy? I was pretty cool and calm because there was three of us and he was alone with his girl. Plus I don't really get scared of altercations. (I used to be pussy before). He was getting on my wing's face and shouting, threatning him. After a point he asked my wing to say sorry to her, which my wing did immediately. Btw my wing was also not scared. He was also calm and collected as he too was not afraid of this guy. Now lemme give you some context. This guy used to work in the mall where we were approaching. So he was automatically feeling more powerful as it was a familiar place for unlike us. Plus, it was pretty obvious that they were in a pretty toxic relationship where he felt the need to threaten a guy who didn't even disrespect or made the girl uncomfortable to show the girl he is really protective of her. And girls love this (very common in India)

First of all, this never happened to me till now. And technically it didn't happen to me. Plus, you can always de-escalate in these situations. Don't get your ego involved and get into a fight guys. Be calm, be friendly with the guy even if he is threatning or cursing you, and say sorry if nothing works. Most often than not, nothing like this will happen. If it does you can explain what you did and why you did in a friendly manner and the guy will understand. If it's still doesn't work say sorry and 99.9% of the time the guy will leave you alone by this point. But if he still doesn't let you go. You need to stand up for yourself guys. Not just in game but in life. Don't be scared. If you have tried everything and he's still not leaving you alone, you're technically protecting yourself from a guy who has gotten into your personal space.

Btw, this is the only negative fighting experience I talked about that I had till now. Lemme tell you about some positive ones so you don't feel anxious just be reading this. Multiple times I approach two sets and one of them turns out to be the mom. They usually say nothing. It also happened to me and my wing multiple times that we approach a girl and her husband or boyfriend shows up. I usually say hi and shake hands with them before leaving. They never say anything confrontational.

Don't overcomplicate shit. Do not do it. Just don't. It will hurt your game. Don't learn a thousand technique like push/pull, teasing, banter, negging, indirect, direct, semi, indirect, semi-direct, and much more bullshit. Just keep it as simple as possible. Build patterns in your approach. For example - in the beginning, my pattern was to do a direct approach like hey you look cute just wanted to say hi followed by what's your name, teasing with name, if nothing to tease then what are you up to, then tease or comment about that and that so on. After keeping it simple, it has allowed me to evolve much better. Now I have a much better pattern for approaching that works super well. Do a direct approach (with a little more improvisation and conviction) offer your name and ask her name without waiting for a respond, do a cold read on her situation like you look lost, did you friend ditched you, you look shy, are you shy, etc. And then continue from there. The pattern will continue to get better as you get more experience.
Do not try to make assumption about the girl's situation at first. Like people look for girls who seem friendly, who seem free, doesn't wanna approach the girls that seem in a hurry, or with their friends discussing something really intense, or anything for that matter. I understand it helps in getting better results to filter out girls with better logistics and stuff. But that could counter-intuitive for beginners, as that will feed their approach anxiety and help them come up with better excuses. Try to have a mindset of "let's find out" whatever your heads tell you to. Like if you're thinking "She seems really busy or in a bad mood or maybe that's her mom, or maybe this and that" Just acknowledge that voice and say " okay fine, but let's find out." It will make you fearless and it will have a pronounce effect on your personality and results. Trust me. Also, not just in game. Have this mindset anywhere in life.
Don't go out with the purpose of getting girls. Go out with the purpose of getting better at social interactions. Don't be that guy who is only looking for the hottest girls to talk to. Nothing wrong with looking for the hottest girl but you will not enjoy gaming if your only goal is to get laid. I understand that what's got you into game in the first place (like me) but try to change your perception about game and pickup. See it as a way to be a better socially calibrated human being who makes people around them welcomed and fun. In the first half an hour. Talk to absolutely anyone and everyone. Talk to your uber driver, talk to the store guy, talk to everyone. Small comments or compliments. Do that. Try to reduce the time between two interactions for the first 30 minutes and you'll be in flow and you'll start killing it. Trust me.
Don't stick to one venue or place. What this will do is it will make you comfortable gaming in one place as you will be familiar with the sitautions and place. And pickup, daygame, nightgame, cold approach is all about unfamiliarity and uncertainty. So anytime you go to a new place to game, you will feel the same approach anxiety, fear, excuses, underconfidence getting back to you.
Lastly, let's talk about the negative aspects of game. Guys game can be really addictive but that's not the problem. The problem is when it interferes with your daily functioning. It fucks with your head when you're working, when you're reading, when you're writing, when you're doing anything. It doesn't lets you focus. I have heard that mediation helps with this, but I haven't tried it. Will start soon though. But a few actionable tips would be to get everything pickup and game related off your Youtube recommend lists. In this generation, we don't choose our hobby and passion. Insta YouTube and other social media does it for us. So, don't let it have complete control over you. Call out yourself when you catch yourself daydreaming a random interaction with a random girl on street. Don't allow it. But also don't judge yourself. Just call out yourself and say you'll not do it again. Spend the rest of the time doing things that you're actually interested in (your passion, hobbies, and job) and if game and pickup is the only thing going on in your life. Stop fucking now and go get a job.. find a hobby and work on yourself. Make friends, spend time with them. No one talks about these nagative elements about game. I found myself in this state the last week and I quickly indentified it because I'm really self aware about my emotions and feelings. So made a conscious effort to improve game without ruining other parts of my life. Or else there is no difference between a SIMP and a Pick Up Artist.

Lastly, guys. If there's anyone in Delhi, India who also does cold approach and daygame/nightgame, then lemme know. Someone who also has other hobbies other passions and a life. Most pickup artists I see are just depressed horny lonely people who doesn't have a life fucking a lot of girls to get by each day. I don't want that life and I'm sure none of you does.

That's a longass comment. I know. I might post it as a whole post. Because I feel it has a lot of valuable insights.

I don't really like the idea of counting your approaches and analyzing them statistically, it's like you're no longer trying to generate a genuine connection with a girl you're just playing a minigame trying to see how good you can get at it

That’s really cool you got 1 lay after only 30 approaches, as I’m assuming that lay was from a cold approach especially for a beginner. Flaking numbers are 100% natural, girls give out their numbers all the time even if they don’t mean to see/contact that person again, but it definitely feels good to get female validation with a number when your first starting out. Looks like your off to a great start so far man. AA will eventually diminish or numb almost completely when you’ve been doing 100s of approaches in almost every kind of scenario ie group, family or friends (even when a guy is there) type approaches. Keep up the good work!!

My experience is based in Southern California not Europe by the way.

In Europe, some are more than willing to approach first. At first, it was a surprise. Then got used to it and like it. Either way (guy or woman approaching) works imho. Social proof and peacock (picture the animal; standing out) does help. Building attraction, comfort, then seduction more so to last from meeting to going further. Journey in experiences are fun. Carpe Diem!! Beginner thinks what to say, intermediate thinks how to interact, advanced thinks where to take other emotionally, physically & more.

I have no clue how to even start with daygame. I’m in a place where nobody is really walking around outside and if I went to target I feel like I’d get kicked out or just bother women. I see women on other subs talk about how much they hate being approached.

Hey man, can you clarify, when you say 5 numbers, 3 dates 2 KC, 1 lay, do you mean from 5 numbers, you got 3 dates etc?

Or do you mean you got 5 numbers only, 3 dates only, 2 KC only, and 1 lay?

Because if the latter is true, then you essentially have 11 successes out of 30, which is great, bro!
