There's an easy way out of this, step one: tell that guy to fuck off. Step two, if the guy doesn't fuck off: get a bouncer /security guy/Barkeeper and tell him this guy is harassing you. The personell will then take care of the guy and you can have fun. Had something similar happen once, I was out with a female friend and her husband. He's very short but a cool guy, and once when we went from the wardrobe in a club to the dance floor a pretty big muscular dude started aggressing him out of nowhere right in front of me. For some reason the better I got with pick up the better I got with these guys.

Frame works the same with everyone, strong eye contact and let them know they are crossing the line. Don't initiate anything physical but do not back down.

As the top comment said the bouncers are there to help you.

Just like you'd pass a shit test from a girl don't fail shit tests from these guys. 99 percent of the time they don't expect resistance and back off immediately.

Yeah ive dealt with that. Its annoying, but its mostly posturing and them trying to look manly to over-compensate for their insecurity against you.

I personally just laugh it off since it would be realy trashy to just in a fight over a girl.

As others have said, try to change the situation before it happens. Body language, jokes etc. But when they do become aggressive just eliminate the situation.

The only true way to win a fight is to avoid one. This isn't the 80's, you don't physically fight for the girl like its roadhouse. Defuse, ignore (cautiously) the threats, and if all else fails call the bouncer. Losing the girl for taking the "puss" (Actually smart) way out is better, than getting into a fight that gets you kicked out, possibly injured, AND you lose the girl.

I've been going out for a while and something has been reoccurring. (happens 3 times a year).

Couple things:

How long is "awhile?"
3 times is not necessarily a lot.

Aggressive guys always try to fight me. The usual reason for this......

There's a lot to unpack here because you've left a lot out. But the short answer is that you should not have to be dealing with this in a normal Western society so often unless there is something you should be adjusting.

Have you always been hitting the same places, and resultantly, the same social groups?
I assume your dating goals are casual. How are you generally ending things with the girls you're involved with? Is it on good terms? Would these girls think well enough of you to refer you to their friends?
How long are you generally involved with girls you meet at these places?
Do you not talk to guys at the places you go? If not, why not?
Do you have a circle of friends you go with or are you always going stag?

Last night, I was with a girl and the guy kept trying to get my attention by yelling in my ear and tapping my shoulder. I ignored him.

What was he yelling? What sort of thing are they typically yelling or saying?
What area do you live in? If you're comfortable saying, what city?
The girl I was with had to yell at the guy for 5 minutes, then he hugged my girl and left...
What was she saying? How does the girl usually react in these situations?

Overall though, if you run game right, the girl will pretty much take care of it. She can make her own decisions.

I dunno. I've never had much problem with these types. I'm also a big black dude. The only time I had aggressive dudes coming up to me was when I went to places that I might consider ghetto.

Those times I'd usually just look at the guy and tell him he's too close and he has X amount of time, before I handle the situation. They usually dip. If they don't I just call over a bouncer. Situation handled.

Don't further instigate (I'm guilty of this a lot, I love making fun of people trying to act macho), as it might lead to them swinging because their feeble emotions can't take the beating.

If I'm not actively gaming a girl (so the guy is just mad that the bartender took my order first or I bumped into him or some other triviality), and I'm not particularly attracted to the establishment, and I'm not wearing a suit; I'm all down to fight though. It ain't attractive but I love me a good fight.

Well, something you can use as a last resort is ask him to lean to hear what you're going to do to him if this shit continues.

Then pick a random horror movie and describe, in explicit detail, how you will dismember him and feed his eyes to the dogs.

I can guarantee he will never want to talk to you again. This may also alienate the entire bar, but if the girl asks, explain exactly what you did and why you did it.

Nobody wants to deal with a psycho.

Show that you are not into that.

Laugh. Smile. Be dominant with your body language but not agressive.

Watch at The Rock (Dwayne Jonhnson) when he had some face-offs to understand better what I'm saying.

Avoid physical contact at all.

"Oh man. You surely are a handsome man, but I don't play it that way".

"Okey. I'm sorry It's my fault. Sometimes I can't help it to be an asshole".

"Let me put it this way. I'm having a fun night tonight. Wanna join me and my friends? Come. Let's have a drink".
