Well, instead of ranting on here, how about you go out next week and just initiate. Unless you have 3 million ig followers, very rarely will women make the first move. Go and do it. Analyze it afterwards. You got this.

Happened to me tonight at the gym with the girl of my dreams. Doesn’t feel good. Just got to not think and act, that’s the key.

Dude, it all comes down to your perspective. If you feed your mind with things like - I am disappointed at myself, I am pu**y, this or that, you will fear even more. Why don't you think like this - I am going to socialize, because girls like to socialize, while talking, I will figure out if she is good enough for me.
Do you see? You don't have to be rejected, and you will not be compatible with every girl, lmao. Maybe you will approach her and find her boring and shallow, are you rejected then? Leave your ego to the side.

Don't put too much pressure on that. The goal of going out is to have fun. And then if you see a girl that you like, you chat with her. The thing is if you see a girl that you like, and you wait, and wait, even if you do approach then, it will be clumsy, and girls notice when someone is waiting cause he doesn't have the balls, instant turn off. You should apply a 3-second rule, because that way, your brain will not start with excuses why not to approach, and your approach will be more spontaneous. The more you wait, the higher the chance that you will not approach.

Back several years ago there were only things like chat rooms to meet people. On the platforms, you had rooms with topics. Popular rooms were listed as men looking for women. So of course those rooms were packed. A few women, and many men. You rarely met anyone.
Now there were man rooms devoted to topics. Dog Lovers, Art, Sports, etc...Those were the rooms I always met very nice local women. The message here is the same as the last one. Stay away from stereotypical places to meet single people. Women hate to be hit on while working out sweaty with running makeup down their faces. Unless of course they really find you attractive.
Last comment. What is your targeted age range? If it's the early twenties that can be problematic. That she group, men and women are known to be fickle. I worked for a large corporation that produced and advertised consumer profucts. The brand managers stayed away from that age group. Again, too fickle. Their tastes wants, and desires change on a dime. Here today, gone tomorrow. Statistical a waste of time and money. Now I know I will get crap for saying that here. But, it is what it is.

If first you don't succeed continue to the next interesting female and open another conversation

I used to have nights like that. Probably 3 weekends straight.
Until I talked to a cute girl, she wanted to go home with me but I was too dumb to realize it, never got to see her again.
That pain made me want to go and talk to girls. The pain made me lose the fear of approaching. I mean I still feel it, but it doesn’t stop me.
Sometimes you just gotta man up and face some scary shit, it’s what makes us grow.
Next time you go out, start with “hey I like your top/dress/hair” and get blown the fuck out. If you can’t at least do that just do a high five. Progressively overload the difficulty to your level.

Just a thought. You are trying to get comfortable around and learn how to socially talk to women at one of the worst places to learn. It's noisy, and everyone at the club has a hook-up mentality. I have found that people can be really shallow at a club.
Why not find our activities where women and men congregate in just normal situations. How about volunteer work? I will give you an example of something I did.
I volunteered to work with the local humane society. Specifically, I worked with an agency that did pet adoptions on Saturdays and Sundays. All you do is talk to people. A lot of them are women. I would even pick a cute dog and walk them in the parking lot. As they got out of their car I would lead the dog to the woman.
I would then explain to her that "I don't know what's up with the dog. They just saw you and lead me right to you." You have a cute dog. Words will just pop out of your mouth.
Lead her back to see the other puppies. You will talk more. It will be so much more comfortable. Don't worry about age. Flirt with everyone.

Did they have knives ? Guns? Fangs? Baseball bats?.......?
Relax they may say no but that's nothing you haven't heard before.
And at the same time don't be afraid of a yes answer ether.
Relax breath talk .....you got this

It's scary because they might say no, but it's also scary because they might say yes because than you have to be cool and witty and not boring and you might not be able to think of a funny joke or whatever on the spot.

Stop with the negative self talk
Stop forcing it relax and be it
[–]shared0 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
I didn't mean to be negative, but meant to say it's not just scary because she might say no (although that might be considered a bit scary) but also might be scary if she says yes. Since you might just end up standing there like an idiot with nothing to say. I don't mean it as negative talk, but just explaining why it might be scary. It's not just for NOs.

Repeat after me:
She is not scary....she is just another human being....with hopes dreams and desires.....just like me ....she has no magical powers .....she is not going to stab me for asking "what kinda drink ya got there"......I am some body worth knowing.....I have fun and funny things that happen in my life I can joke about just like she does....

I dare to say in your life you have been through far worse than one female declining an advance. No need for alchohol or any wonder drug just be you relaxed breathing you . You just struck up a conversation with anyone who answers on this post and we are all strangers . You can calmly ask a female what music she likes best. Or what she thinks about the crowd tonight....or any other opener..

Just face rejection as much as you can, best way I find is to either talk to girls at the bar as you can be more social or in smoking area (I don’t smoke myself). I can see your point where it is daunting taking the actual steps to approach these girls in the club and then what do you say when you do walk up to them. Try lingering around the bar next time, ask them what they’re drinking if they’ve ordered a cocktail, that kinda thing.

If the girls noticed you, I'm wondering how cool you look when you are drunk ....
