It is always time and effort better spent developing new, fresh, prospective women than it will ever be in attempting to reconstruct a failed relationship. Never root through the trash once the garbage has been dragged to the curb. You get messy, your neighbors see you do it, and what you thought was worth digging for is never as valuable as you thought it was.

She's not yours bro, it was your turn. So holding on means that you will treat her like a celeberty and she will treat you like a fan. Moving on means that you won't be in the friendzone and she might catch you in one of her friends phone.. you choose.

The thing is, unless she was objectively a REALLY good partner, you won’t miss her once you’re over her, because it just doesn’t work like that. Quite the opposite - you’ll start noticing the negatives.
You can wait around, but you need to consider the (quite real) possibility that it will not work out.

I do agree. It's like, if I ever saw her again, I swear I'd need to ask a therapist, if it was possible to love her again, cause I'm 99% sure, I'd be thinking about the negatives. Is there any way to get over this though? I mean how can I not? If, if everything worked out, in the sense that we were in the same area, doing the same thing, how could I get past all the negative stuff?

I read your post again and, oh well. She asked to break up a MONTH after she left, and 1.5 months after that was already dating someone else. The story about the letter is cute n shit, but she obviously didn’t walk the talk.
How to get over her? I really don’t know, this is different for everyone. Finding a rebound is a toxic method but maybe it’d work? Watch sad romantic movies and cry? Sorry I have never gone through a breakup as a male.

She lives in your head not your reality
