I’m not saying this girl in particular is going to be like that or that all women are. But what you’re describing is a real phenomena probably every guy on earth has noticed.

My theory is it happens commonly because when a woman says what she wants, she’s actively in a state of wanting for it. You don’t put someone in a state of wanting for something by giving them an abundant amount of it.

It’s like how you feel about oxygen. You don’t, unless it’s not there.

So very often when you see things like that written on a profile “I want to be prioritized” etc. It means the last guy she was crazy about did not prioritize her, and that created a strong wanting in her for it. Was that “wanting” the reason she wanted him so badly? Maybe.

Usually though you would get her attention by giving her what she says she wants and it wouldn’t become a problem until she’s had time to heal from the last guy, which you’ll be helping with.

There is a whole field of psychology (behavioral psych) which focuses on what people actually do while ignoring or effectively dismissing what they think.

If you ask anyone, 'do you want to have a healthy lifestyle,' generally everyone will say yes. But when you look at actual behaviors and habits, you'll find that most people fall very sort of this cognitive ideal.

Generally, you should trust people's actions, not their words, beliefs, or opinions.
