She said when I took my invisalign out at the table she was a little grossed out.
Probably this, just go to the bathroom, wash it out and wrap it in paper towels. You have my sympathies if they're shitty low flow faucets, but still.
If you weren't making her laugh on the date, if you weren't spiking her emotions in a positive way, nor creating sexual tension, she's likely going to next you in search of someone who does. It might not be an entirely rational decision on her part if you can make her feel things over the phone or text, but such is the nature of dating.
Girls just wanna have fun.

1) you’ve put her on a pedestal for being attractive. You forgot she’s just a human being no different to you.
2) did you try and escalate during the date at all? Or just talked the whole time?
3) was it a “fun/casual” date? Or did you take her out for a meal (which is a bad 1st date idea)?
4) did you come across as nervous, anxious, or otherwise not confident during the date?
Attractive people are just people. Don’t treat them like they’re special, just treat them like a human being. Being born with good genes (and having the time to put on a fuck ton of makeup) doesn’t qualify people for special treatment. 1st dates should be getting to know people, seeing how you vibe, not anxiously trying to please them and gain their validation.

I can guarantee I didnt off that way. I'm absolutely positive I didnt put her on a pedestal. (however, see #4)
No not really. She accepted a hug at the end but that was it.
We went to mini golf first. Then she suggested a nearby restuarant after. I offered to drive there and we went with the top down in my porsche. At the restuarant she was spaced out, didnt touch her food, and kept complaining about being hungover. She didnt seem in to it and I just backed off by that point.
Yes I came across as nervous. It just happened and I couldn't get a grip on it.

First off. You made it a point to mention that you drive a Porsche like that had anything to do with it. Not just a car. You may feel that because you have nice things you don’t need to try. You NEED to excite her in some way. Flirt with her on the date. “Are all cute girls X at X” that clearly says I am here and I am confident, I want to take you home and fuck you. Just because you’re golfing doesn’t mean you have to keep it strictly about golfing. If anything it might be easier to escalate. After you’ve made it a point that both of you are interested then go in for touches, arm on back walking to the next hole; blocking her putt by standing in front of her “if you don’t make this I’m not sure if we’re going to get along”
As for her suggesting dinner; tbh she could been one of two things. 1. She was being really nice and even giving you a chance to take her home. 2. she had lost all interest and was hungry and wanted a free meal because you drove a nice car to the date (showing off)

If you thinking you need to sell the car is why it went wrong. I’m not able to help you.

This is the internet man, in all due respect we only know what you tell us in your original post. None of us were there so we can only give so much advice.

Probably too hot for me
Don't say that
I did ask for some feedback and asked about my photos.
Needy approval-seeking behavior
I was a little nervous on the date so wasnt as funny
Suppressing your self-expression out of fear of her reaction?
She said when I took my invisalign out at the table she was a little grossed out
Poor social awareness but I'm guessing you also reacted like you were embarrassed about it
So my only guess is, she is operating from a position of power in dating by being a smoke show. And only went on a date with me because I was borderline good enough for looks, but made her laugh. And once the laughter stopped I wasnt attractive enough. Sound about right?
You're placing way too much importance on her looks. What would she have if she didn't have looks? Many women, even pretty ones, are self-conscious of their appearance because they know a lot of their attractiveness is just from make up and fashion. Don't put her on a pedestal. Its like the saying goes, treat her like a celebrity and she'll treat you like a fan. You want to either treat her like an equal or even treat her like a little sister if you need to.
Im sure if you kept your playful joking attitude you could have maintained her attraction. Most likely, her attraction stopped not just because the laughs stopped but the REASON the laughs stopped. She could probably sense your insecurity. If you project the vibe that a girl is "too good" for you she will pick up on it and she will end up agreeing.
This short video will explain the different mindsets better

Um, I asked those things after she gave me the no connection answer. At that point, I'm never going to see her again so I have nothing to lose. She rejected me so she has the power in conversation at that point. You can say I shouldn't have just moved on and maybe you'd be right, but I'm asking in interest of self improvement, not validation to get another chance. Is there something about me that I dont know about myself? Were all flawed and I want to be the best I can be. Felt like an opportunity for growth I couldn't turn down. Did I look like my pics? Do I stink? Etc? Sometimes we dont k ow until someone tells us.
I get nervous on first dates (online only) whether the girl is hot or not. It's something I have to work on for sure, it just hits and I cant get a grip on it. Usually settles by the 2nd date.
Totally just forgot about my invisalign. I've had them for so long I just dont remember they're in anymore. But yeah, that was a mistake for sure.
I didnt overly praise her or treat her like she was better in anyway. I definitely came off as nervous and the banter that was there on the phone wasnt there in person. I just kind of didnt take risks.

The problem with asking those kinds of questions is they come off like your asking "Am i likeable? Why dont you like me?" Women answering those questions will prioritize protecting your feelings over being honest anyway. If she thinks her opinion might make you sad or angry she'll probably keep it to herself. Women have to be much more careful about angering men than the other way around. There's just no point in asking.
Watch that video i posted anyway. I genuinely think it will help you.

Idk, the way she framed her answer, told me about my invisalign mistake, idk where she works/lives, just felt believable
I'll check out the video. Thanks bro

Here is another possibility. Maybe she was being honest. In fact, maybe it wasn't anything you did that caused things to not work out. It could be before she met you she had built up this fantasy idea of what you would be like but when she met you she realized you are a human just like her. People don't directly control what they're attracted to. If you don't click, you don't click.

Yeah for sure. I think she had really high expectations for me..she seems to be really selective with who she goes on dates with, had a thorough screening processes with me, doesnt go on a lot of dates (she could if she wanted)...
I was really on my humor game with her on the phone/text, I said some hysterical shit. But I'm not on all the time. I get tired, I was hot and sweaty (95 degrees out) wa ted water, nervous, etc. It wasnt my best look though I know for sure I would make her laugh more tha any other guy shes gonna find.

Is there a trick to living up to that fantasy or is it largely out of your control at that point.
[–]Codi_Banks 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The only winning move is not to play! Don't approach it from the position of molding yourself into what she wants you to be. Instead of trying to obey her rules, you should want to make her break her own rules for you.
What is your fantasy girl? For guys that are down bad the fantasy is usually just "she's a girl and shes not ugly" lol. If that's you, raise your standards! I know it might seem counterintuitive. You might think "If I'm not getting results even with these barebones standards, I can't afford to raise them!" but that's actually wrong. Having low standards is a sign of insecurity, neediness, and desperation: all of those are huge turn offs for women. Also women aren't going to want you if they think ANY girl can get you. They won't be able to trust your loyalty.
Fuck her fantasy. Write your own fantasy. Go out with girls and actually turn some down if they don't match what you're looking for. Dont be rude of course but let them (and yourself) know that not every girl is good enough for you.
[–]Lighthero34 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
But how will those isolated incidents actually affect the big picture? I mean, it's not like all these girls know each other and tell each other "oh he rejected me, he must have high standards!"
[–]Codi_Banks 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
People in general can kinda feel how confident or insecure you are, women just notice it more. They are more sensitive to social situations, body language, and "vibes" than men are. You are constantly subconsciously projecting your feelings and intentions to women when you interact with them. That's why you should focus on changing your mindset. When you change your mind, the body will follow.

It's not fantasy, it's my real personality. I just get nervous on first dates online. It takes time for me to open up. It's hard to turn off.
I have no clue what you're talking about right now, my question was in no way directed at you
Lol sorry
I was typing all this out but I didn’t know you had deleted the post… not sure if you can still see it. Anyways here’s my two cents…
You are right maybe you aren’t expecting points from it but why even mention it in the first place? Why not just say “I offered to drive; we drove over” if you’re nervous with a girl who is as attractive as you say she is, try to work on that. Dates are one way to do that but at the same time you aren’t doing yourself any favors because you are compromising potential relationships with women who are already attracted to you.
My advice (a random person on the internet) would be to go to a nice park. Just say “hi” to everyone. Fat, skinny, young, old, whatever. Then the next day go again, this time say “hey nice Shoes, glasses, shirt, dress” keep walking and don’t stop, KEEP WALKING. This way you don’t expect anything from the interaction. Third day, same park, at this point you’ve become comfortable in the area. This time ask for directions, work in one of your compliments then thank them and leave (no number, no nothing) Final day, pull it all together. Say hi, Ask directions, compliment, ask for number. Remember, you may think this is stupid because why would you want to approach a bunch of people and not get a number. You don’t, you’re doing it for the repetition. Making it so your decisions are not so outcome dependent. You are saying what you want regardless of the outcome.
They don’t say hi back. So what.
They don’t give you directions. So what.
They don’t give you their number… SO WHAT.
You have successfully allowed yourself to be much more confident and you realize that no matter the outcome you are still alive, still healthy. Now when you go on the date, your actions will not be outcome dependent; should I say this or will it turn her off? Should I take my Invisalign out or will she think it’s gross. You mentioned you forgot they were even in… take them out, if she thinks it’s gross. Crack a joke, say something like “oh my profile didn’t say I had fake teeth? I chose to have them made of wood, some people say gold but I thought that’d be a little too flashy” smirks and holds eye contact something to change her way of telling her friends about the date the next day from “yeah he was gross he took out his Invisalign” to “he was funny, you won’t believe this he said he had fake teeth and I actually believed him”
