It’s more about valuing your self through action and not just by thought.
Taking care of your body and mental, learning new skills and experiencing challenges, learning to relax and have fun etc.
When you treat yourself like someone who matters, it makes it much easier to accept it as a truth as well.

For me it's just an ongoing process of identifying insecurities and needy behavior and just getting over it. Like I used to be ridiculously self conscious about my receeding hairline and weight, realized the only person that cared about it was me and it was just a bullshit excuse holding me back.

Read The untethered soul or some other "lower level" book as compared to self improvement books. It's like trying to learn a new language by watching movies in that language versus taking a first principles course in the nature and structure of that language. You should learn to see that the mental chatter telling you you're not worthy isn't "you".
