The only way to know if she likes you is to ask her out. Shoot your shot and ask her out for a drink. If she says no, move on.

Stupid advice. Are relationships at work complicated? For sure, yet a ton of people meet their spouses at work.
I was listening to a psychologist counsel a young man who was having dating troubles. This kid said he approached over 100 girls and got rejected every time. In response the psychologist made an interesting point which is that in his experience most successful relationships start “from a series of unplanned interactions”. Where else are you gonna have that besides work? Approaching random women at various places is hard, awkward, not natural, and will certainly bruise most men’s ego. Not to say you shouldn’t do it, but work is the place to be able to build the base of a really solid relationship. Everything comes at a cost though. At work you have the potential to interact with a few women for a long period of time and their guard will be down for the most part. On the flip side, you have to approach the situation with a lot of tact, maturity, and social acuity to avoid problems with HR. Not the best place for a short term fling.

Problems with HR? Totally! Come on bro don’t be that oblivious. If you have Asperger’s or something like that then maybe you should go out of your way not to get involved with women at work. Plus work (depending on what the job is) is a place where many people find a long term relationship or even a spouse. Definitely not a good place for short term flings, and you shouldn’t be sexually forward with a woman at work unless you are sure she is attracted to you. Also, if you ask a woman from work out to coffee or something like that and she declines, drop it and be mature. Asking a woman out more than once at work could land you in trouble with HR and isn’t cool.
