It's his only good book. the other ones are a crash grab. No shitty puns or jokes, no meaningless advice, no forced comedy. Models is a must read and Mate too

It really depends. What kind of issues are you having on the dating front? Have you ever read a book that was mind blowing, if so which book was it?

Yes, but not a self help book…. Which this was the first self help book I’ve ever read.

Models is a self help book focused on dating. I haven't read the other one you talk about. But when it comes to the self help genre it's not everyone's cup of tea. For books in this genre "dating self-help" it's one of the best one's I've read. It didn't blow my mind because I have read so many other such books but this one was the most focused and succinct. Meaning that if you read it, you probably don't need to read much else in this genre because it summarizes so many of the large concepts in a very clear, simple way, with examples.

I read Neil Strauss’ stuff back in college. Is it the same as that?

Totally not. Have read both analytically and Manson's is way more focused on practicality. And still takes into account principles obtained from the times of Neil's book.

It's a bit more focused on mindset, being non-needy and honest. Neil Strauss is old school game, focused on manipulation, routines etc.

It's very good and worth it. In the end it's only $10 so it's not like you have a lot to lose.
