Get over her. It will take time. But don’t cling on to her.
She’s done. Finished. There’s 3+ billion women on the earth, she wasn’t that special. Don’t get soapy. Don’t feel sorry for yourself.
Get to the gym. Heal. Recover. And go again.

This is psychological thing we do when we get rejected, the secret is to (try to) not think about her. Focus on doing something you really love (idk do sports, video games, read a book, watch a movie etc.), Anything that keeps you from thinking of her,
I can say from my experience that the following work wonders, but this is a subjective matter:
go for a walk in crowded areas, when there's no people around my mind usually drifted towards bad thoughts
doing sports, the fatigue made my mind completely forget for the moment about the girl I so much missed
doing manual labor, I really enjoy repairing stuff or improving something in my house
Again, this might not work for you,
But the secret is to make yourself stop thinking about her, and again it will get better
Hope this helps you and others who are passing through this same situation
Cheers

Delete her off all socials, including number and photos. No contact and gym. Literally the only thing that works.

Try not to think about her for an hr and if you do start that hr over again and then move to 3 hrs and so on and so on

Feel the pain. Cry. Sit with it for a while but don't stop your life. Keep doing things like going to the gym, hanging out with friends(A LOT!!! BE AROUND PEOPLE), then start to approach.
That last bit is very important. Once you have 3,4 girls ready to see you, the excitement will quickly trump what you're feeling right now.

"because it was unavoidable and I caused this"
The reality is, a relationship usually ends because of 2 people, while it's important to acknowledge and work on your flaws and mistakes within that relationship, it's also super important to acknowledge that you are a human and part of beauty of the human experience is that we are inherently flawed. You made a mistake, but you have thw golden opportunity to see this mistake as an ending of a relationship or the beginning of a journey to becoming a better and happier version of you.
I know at this moment in time you're upset, you see your ex as this flawless person human being who there is nobody better an but that person is also flawed too. You will find somebody better suited to you and when you find them you will be better suited to you.
Moral of the story, you cant change the past, but you can change your view of it and how you can use this pain to make you a better version of you. Start doing things that give you purpose, a sense of belonging and surround yourself with people who will support you.

It takes time man. It took me well over a year to completely move on if I’m being honest. Really try to better yourself, and set goals for the future. Sounds like cliche advice, but it’s true.

The good news is heartbreak gets easier to deal with every time you go through it. You learn tricks to getting over it and eventually if you are older and it still happens sometimes you can bounce back in like two months tops.
For me,
work out Meditate Cold showers Flirt with other girls Nature walks Do social activities even when you don’t feel like it
Eventually you will start to crush on some other girl and that’s when you know you are far enough along to at least start trying to date again, even if not fully over it.
