Sorry but I’m gonna tell you to Temper your overwhelming crush. What if he’s gay, what if he does have a girlfriend, what if he doesn’t want a relationship, or a relationship with you? Sorry to be blunt but I don’t want you to get devastated if it doesn’t go how you expect …..etc …
Do this, ping him on social media and simply say “Hey! How are you doing! Take me out, let’s get to know each other better! I’m free on x day, x time ….” And then don’t say another word … just go about your life and your school and your pursuits. If this guy is interested in you and available he will respond to that and likely take you out.
3 if he doesn’t - then he’s saved you a ton of wasted trouble. That would suck but better to know quickly than not….
And do this! You will kick yourself if you don’t.
I was in the exact same situation as you. This girl I knew - she was stunning and gorgeous and I wanted to get to know her. I asked her and she said yes. We went out a few times. And you know what I learned? She was gorgeous and seemed cool, but she actually had the personality of a rock . By the 3rd date I couldn’t stand having to force the conversation every time. It was painful.
But I pat myself on the back everyday because I took the effort and took a chance to ask her out to get to know her. You need to do the same! No fear! Fortune favors the bold!!! Good luck!

i was being sarcastic and speaking of my lifelong hatred of how its normally always expected of guys to approach and make the first move, do the asking out, be the initiators in terms of starting a relationship, i doubt i'm the only guy in the world who resents how one-sided that is, tons of guys love it when girls make the first move or ask them out first.
