So last weekend I was hanging out with a female friend of mine and we both are newly single and just wanted to get a drink and go out and have a good evening. We both had a few drinks and she started snapchatting both of us on her phone and one of her friends messaged her "who is that, he's cute". Fast forward to next day and she gives her my snapchat and we talk for like 30 minutes and I get her phone number, followed by immediately setting up "lets hangout Friday at X place". She agreed, our mutual friend is joining just because she told her she'd drive her so w/e ill take it.

The point of this post is, this girl is shy. They work together and my friend explains that around men she is very shy and timid. I have been texting her every few days just sorta trying to get a general idea of how she is and what she's like. She has not initiated a text conversation yet, I suppose since she doesn't really know me yet but gets very talkative once I reach out to her. We seem to get along really well via text so far and my mutual friend thinks we're going to hit it off and she's asked about me at work already this week. We're hanging out this Friday and seeing where it goes.

Do any of you have any positive or success stories with hanging out/escalating or hooking up with a really shy woman who you know is interested in you? How are they different than a regular or outgoing woman when it comes to game? I've been in a relationship for the last 6 years so I'm rusty (33m).
