Never ask a girl for anything. After a short conversation you say "lets exchange numbers" pull your phone out and give it to her or take hers.

The best way is to put your number in her phone, then text yourself something like "you're cute omg." Then reply a bit later haha.

The more bold and assuming you are the better.
