If they don't have snap, just say "ok, let's connect on insta then". Doesn't have to be complicated or awkward, that's all in your head.
Also, don't listen to the guys who tell you to never connect on social media. Guys who say that most likely have shitty profiles and would rather claim all girls on social media are attention whores instead of putting in the work to build a decent profile. As long as you have a decent profile, there's nothing wrong with getting her socials instead of her number. Many girls actually prefer social media over texting and I also find they're easier to build comfort and rapport on too.

Yeah it is kinda smooth. Usually they’ll giggle or look impressed. Even when I get denied they usually have a good laugh about it and give it back to me. I’ll say “too soon?” Or “too forward?” And continue the conversation like NBD and try again a bit later if the feelings right.
It also saves from ever having to ask for or remember a name in the conversation.

The exact same way lol. Maybe I should thing of something more creative. Otoh some women respect and want persistence as long as it’s socially calibrated and non creepy. I think the keys to this move are it displays confidence by assuming success, don’t even have to say anything, and is more like a statement than a request. Also it’s a slightly original and humorous way of doing it so it smoothly moves though what could be an awkward part of the interaction. Bottom line if she likes you already she will try to make things easy for you.

After 5-10 minutes of conversation right before I’m about to eject, I say something about it’d be great to hang out again and just hand the phone over. If she seems interested at all and logistics aren’t great for anything to happen immediately no point in sticking around for a super long conversation. Sometimes I continue to hang out if we’re vibing and having fun and she’s making me laugh. But that doesn’t really improve my chances IMHO. Whatever cliche you prefer: leave on a high note or leave them wanting more or leave a little mystery.

After a good, reciprocated response to a joke or opener just confidently hit her with a "Hey, let me get your snap".
A lot of advice says to get her phone number which is what it is but there are a lot of women in their 20's that legit just don't use texting as a means of communication and asking for a phone number just sounds kind of archaic. But you can play it by ear.

Not true. Some girls just feel more comfortable connecting on social media vs giving out their phone number. I always get girls' IGs instead of their numbers and it's never been an issue for me.
