I commend you for grabbing the insta but her number is the best way to get her out on a date. Much more personal and you won’t be just another guy in her DMs.

Considering this is where you are in the interaction tho, I’d say just let her be. You don’t wanna double text and come off as needy. I would have instead told her i already have plans to be there soon and asked her what are some good places to have fun or chill/eat.

She says x lounge or x bar or x restaurant and id say "ok cool. i might hit her up once im in town."

The key is to be the leader. Treat her like a younger sibling or relative when it comes to making moves. Dont sound like "hey when are you inviting me???". Thats what a woman would say. That sounds needy. A man will go regardless.
