Also to add onto your last point - people forget that Women get just as nervous as guys do when someone approaches them. So even though they might want to talk to you, they might unconsciously give off nervous body language which could be misinterpreted as defensive body language.

Fuck I'm 30+ and I had zero sense of this before my actual gf, who blushed when talking to me and decided to sit along me in an empty room at work. She didn't talk though... and that's how I understood before.
Believe me or not, I was still wondering if she liked me. Talked about this to a female friend, she laughed so hard at me for not recognizing obvious signs that I had to ask the coworker out on our next conversation...

Yeah, body language is extremely difficult to manipulate when you’re in the moment. The limbic system at work. It’s why acting is so difficult. Everyone check out the book “What every body is saying”, it’s great.

No, I mean that look a woman gives a man when she wants to have his babies 😂 A special little twinkle behind them. Every woman is different but that "look" is probably the most universal. Hopefully she would just tell you 🤷🏻♀️ Men can be tricky too when they're not upfront! Sometimes you find out they liked you years later and you had no clue. If you're not sure, ask her on a date. Worst thing that could happen is she says no.

I work with mainly women and this is true. It doesn't always mean they attracted but it means they feel comfortable with you. If they get close to you when talking, or come over and stay near you to have a conversation. I have some of them lean against me when I'm showing them something. It in my mind is a good feeling when a girl feels that comfortable around me, even if its not sexual.
