Yes. One of my best FWB situations has turned into a strong friendships. We talk on the phone once every 2 months even though we are in different countries. We share details that we don't share with our other friends.

We have know each other for 5 years. And during those times we hooked up a few times. Then became FWBs for 6 months. Then when I moved away, we are now friends.

It comes down to setting expectations. During our stint together as FWBs, she told she has started developing feelings. I told her I cannot offer more and I am sorry she didn't want to see me anymore because of this. She then agreed to continue sleeping together for a few more weeks.

Honest communications is key.

How old are you? I ask because you’re referring to “girls” so I assume you are college-aged or younger. I’m thinking you would have more success with an older woman. They won’t want a relationship with you because you’re too immature, and being sexually satisfied without a lot of effort and zero commitment would be appealing to them.

actually my best "girl" friend is like that, We met in first year in college she still had a bf, later she was transferred to my class and we clicked off because we just vibed differently and started to hang out as just friends.

at parties i noticed her getting jealous when i was kissing/dancing with other girls and then she behaved like she was my girlfriend, i told her that i care about her in another way but not more than that. i ended up having a girlfriend later on and when i was super drunk and my relation was going bad i asked her if i could come over and then we ended up fucking alot in the weekends. post forward 2 years she still is my best friend and sometimes we just have sex because we want to but generally we just enjoy eachothers company and shit. its weird to explain. we sometimes even joke for threesome with some of our other friends but now that everyone is kinda dating and having relations we stopped doing that haha. we just vibe differently

You have to be willing to lose your FWB - you're trying to hard to put them in a specific place when only they can make that decision.

If they leave, they leave. But if in my experience, my past FWBs would leave for a bit a then come back because they missed hanging out with me/the sex. And I just never really reacted strongly to anything she said. I even had one FWB say she loved me and had feelings. I told her I can't dare you but I enjoy hanging out and fucking.
