Eh, I would just talk to the friend mostly. Your saying you were going to ask her out may have been in the kick in the pants he needed to ask her out. If this is the first time he's done something like this, tell him it's not cool and throw him a bone. If you're not sure she's your type, I'd come up with some kind of excuse to get out of drinks, but in such a manner that doesn't make it seem like you're getting out of it. Or go for drinks but give her the impression your friend is a great guy.

But yeah, tell your friend that this is a one time nice thing to do, next time you're kicking his ass.

Dude, yes, your friend is a chode, but you've got the wingman rules backward a bit.

The general rule is that the first one to spot a target gets the first chance with her. Sure, he SHOULD have opened her. But, as a good wing, you went and got the job done for him. And it worked. She's going to be seeing him. Good job, wingy.

And yes, you did most of the work, so sure, I'd be a bit frustrated too. Get over it. Let him have her, move on, etc. Heck, she'll probably dump him when he chodes out and she sees all the attention you get.

Finally, ask yourself what type of chick this is that would say yes to a date with both of you? You wanna get involved in that? I see only nastiness that could come out of it, possible losing both the girl and a friend in the process. Stepping away is your winning move here.

He opened the set, he gets first pick of target. There is no reason he shouldn't have asked her out. Hell, looks like he even beat you to it, since she came back and said she already was seeing him.

Also, why are you pissed? You said she wasn't your type and it was for fun anyways. Maybe he is genuinely interested in her and YOU should back off.

Also, why can't she just hang out with both of you one on one? If you're such an awesomer guy than your friend, why be pissed at him and try to cut him down? Show her you're cooler than him and she'll get the picture.

Basically, this post reeks of insecurity. Just go for drinks with her, who cares if she's hanging out with him later?
