Look, there are two ways to deal with this.

Play it off as Throwaway suggests most hilariously. Do this if the girl is a fling.
Or if this is a girl you're dating seriously, be real. If taking care of your body matters to you, then you can also just be straight up honest about what you like, in a kind way. If that offends her, there's always someone else.

The thing about this scenario is, this girl is basically dog-whistling that she doesn't care about taking care of her body or doesn't know how to. And she sees herself gaining weight.

And she wants to know if you'll stick around. It's insecurity, straight up. "I think I'm gaining weight and will become out of shape, and there's nothing I can do about it. Will he stay?"

Think about it. Fit people don't ask this sort of question. They are more likely to push you to be active with them, rather than make statements that come off like they're giving up.

Stop taking her out to eat at only unhealthy places; like craft beer bars, and other manly bars, or fast food only. My bf only would take me to those types of places when I was really poor and couldn't otherwise afford to go out and eat... he would pay... I would gain weight. Try going for sushi or a restaurant with vegan options because they have more healthy food. Cook healthy food for her, easiest option... if she cooks for you off to clean, and she'll cook again. My bf did none of and all of these things to me. He resented my weight gain, why? I'm not sure because he was the fattest guy I had ever been with, (tho he didn't believe me). I actually at one point early on asked him this question because he seemed to encourage me to eat awful unhealthy food, and hated when I press the 15$ salad option at the shitty craft beer bar....... try looking at things from her perspective, men in general are awful at that. Girls are just people, insecure about things you are not

Obviously she wants to hear a yes. If she's thinking about it she probably wouldn't let it happen. If you think she's starting to get unhealthy, take her biking, swimming, hiking, dancing. And let her know you find health to be the most attractive feature (even if it's not). She will learn that you won't be ok with it without flat out telling her you only want her for her body.
