You "mustered yourself to have sex" you should have "mustered yourself to kiss". While forethought is good and all, you were busy thinking about something several steps down the line before resolving the issue immediately in front of you.
If you haven't even kissed this girl, I'm not even convinced you could have gotten her to have sex with you.

Dude, if she's in a PRIVATE room - with YOU - ALONE - it's obvious she likes you enough to want you to make a move. Just say her name, and when she looks over to ask you what, kiss her. Did this in a club in Eastern Europe, 5,000 miles away from my hometown, a day after meeting the girl, worked like a charm.
I know what I'm saying sounds daunting, but trust me, when you do it, you'll feel like a fucking king.

Dude first date no kiss for a newbie I can understand. But man, somewhere in the middle of the second date it has to be done by now.
Just slow it down man. Focus just on your breath for a few seconds if you find your mind racing.
Whenever you wanna go for the kiss when close to her you just have to give her the “I wanna kiss you” look and say “Hey” or “Wait”

Touching, but it’s a snowball effect. Gotta start very small.
Light arm touches, knee on knee or general slight leg on leg contact (when sitting next to each other) but getting closer and closer over the date. Make an excuse to grab their hand (maybe they have bracelets or rings or a necklace) or shirt or jeans (not in sensitive places, not yet).
Then hand on her thigh as you get deeper into the conversation, slowing your voice, all of this stuff of course with a lot of intense eye contact.
And when you want to say “hey,” put your hand on the back of her head and go in for the kill baby
Then finally isolate into a private place and then you can start touching wherever

Guys, take note. Fail to go for the kiss when she's ripe for it and she will feel rejected and the next step is her losing interest. Better to get a cheek and know not to take her out again than to make her feel unwanted, unattractive and rejected by you.
