A lot of people feel shitty just because they : a. Drink alcohol more than they should (more often than once per month is already initial stage of alcoholism). b. Eat shitty food. c. Have too many other addictions like gaming, porn, etc. d. Don't have enough physical and social activity.
Basically if you lead healthy lifestyle then most of your "psychological problems" would be solved by themselves. Humans ARE bio-machines and our inner chemistry affects our feelings more than any "post trauma" or whatever. This is why people often revisit their therapists over and over again, because without changing your life on fundamental level all this psychological work wouldn't last for long. Also some basic understanding of how our brains and emotions works would help too.

In the context of this post there isn't much difference. Psychologists can conduct therapy for patients but are often more involved with research whereas therapists main career function is to help clients work through their emotions.
Providing actionable plans in therapy takes a back seat to facilitating personal break throughs, usually by asking probing questions. Talking about the past and realizing how it relates to the present is supposed to be therapeutic. Therapists aren't life coaches though and in practice tend to be little more than a willing ear. Most people can get the same experience for free from a close friend and deep conversation.

Is a life coach kinda like a therapist who will actually give you feedback?

Just wanted to point something, is not that easy to find the right psychologist/therapist for you, so the best thing to do is to keep looking, like you said. Now try to find a therapist instead of a psychologist.
A therapist could be like a life coach, they could have different degrees in disciplines.
A psychologist works towards mental health and they will look for a diagnose.

You get a check up at the doctor for your physical health. You should also see a therapist fir your mental health.

If you dont want to gi to a therapist, start with self therapy. The book 'feeling good, the new mood therapy' from David d. Burns helped me alot.
