Matched with a really cute girl (21) on Tinder

Things started off flirty. I could tell she was interested, and I managed to get her number within 3 messages.

Then, once we transitioned to texting, things didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped.

I wanted to set a confident frame and create an opening for things to get sexual, so I started off by sending her a shirtless mirror pic. Not something I would normally do, but I had just worked out and was feeling good about myself. Plus, she was wearing bikinis in several of her pics, so I figured I would match her energy.

Her response was, “Wow, someone’s feeling a little confident there huh.”

I responded jokingly with, “Well it is gift-giving season. Besides, you can use it for your anatomy class since you’re studying health and exercise science.”

I figured this was where the conversation would become sexual, but she transitioned into talking about her major. Not what I was hoping for, but I went with it.

Then, I tried to plant a seed by asking what her, “What’s your idea of a fun time?” Just to get an idea for a potential date or, again, make things a little dirty.

But once again, she didn’t bite. She responded 12 hours later with, “I enjoy curling up in bed with a book or watching TV.” I could feel the energy dying down, and I tried to spice it back up.

So I asked her, “Any types of exercise you enjoy? I mean, you must have extensive knowledge on various forms of physical activity.” Now, it’s been over 24 hours, and she hasn’t responded.

I’m not used to getting sexual via texting. I mean, it’s Tinder. Most of the girls on there wanna fuck at least a little, and I did my best to indicate that that was my intent without being too blunt, but I think I ended up losing her.

Did I come on too strong and she’s just flat out not interested in having sex?

Or is everything good and I’m just massively overthinking this?
