So I went out daygaming and shopping. And boy that was hard. Especially when your intention is that she's attractive, and that is the only purpose to approach.

There were a fair few chicks out and about. I just had so many mental excuses to not approach.

  • "She's walking too fast"
  • "She's too attractive for me"
  • "She might be a foreigner, ie difficult to talk"
  • "There's too many people watching"
  • "She's not into brown dudes"

It's like I preemptively gave myself no chance even before I could approach. I know these thoughts are irrational and borderline ridiculous. I need to rewire my thoughts.

A drunk Irish chick said "hey babe" as they walked by me and even they have more balls than I do. And still didn't follow up, just a feeble "hey" back and continued walking on.

I feel like I need to be more impulsive and just embrace the embarrassment and uncomfortable nature of the situation.

Anyways, that was an extremely shitty Field report and hoping the next one is a lot better. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I think I'm gonna come up with a canned opener to make things easier.

Edit: So today, I was a bit annoyed with yesterday so I figured I'd approach while I buy some groceries.

I approached one chick who was smoking and absorbed in her phone. There wasn't too many people around. I was like "Excuse me, this is random but I think you're cute." She replied "No". LOL. And I was like cool, ok and I moved on. I gotta admit as I was walking away I felt excited and embarrassed, and my legs were shaking briefly haha.

There were more opportunities to approach but I think I avoided because there are too many people around.

I don't think rejection per se is my major issue, but rejection with so many people around. Anyway, this update is better than the one above so I'll take that as a win. Hopefully next one is better
