Sorry for the decently long post, just happy about myself and figured I would speak about it since I love Reddit!

Went out to dinner with my good friend today and the waitress was beautiful (I thought she was but my friend didn’t, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!). I knew if I left the restaurant without making a move I would’ve kicked myself mentally for not doing it (and probably would’ve made a sobbing post about it, so I saved y’all some time haha). When we were leaving, I left my number on the receipt, but then I said screw it, I’m gonna be a man and do it in person. So I came up to her with the receipt and said “Hi sorry I know this is random but I left my number because I think you’re really cute, but I figured I’d just come up and tell you”. She had a boyfriend, but she said she appreciated my complement and that “she’s happy I did it because a lot of guys don’t have the balls to make a move nowadays, thank you again for the compliment.” I told her no problem and to have a great night.

I’m just really proud of myself for finally working up the nerve, this quarantine hurt my confidence and self-esteem being locked in for so long, I’m happy I challenged myself/took my shot.

Sorry for the long post again, I’m just happy with myself, would love to know if anyone else had similar experiences lately?
