So I was sitting in a coffee shop and I notice a cute worker behind the counter. We made solid eye contact a few times, so I figured I would make an approach.

She looked kinda shy, and she was working so I wanted to make it quick and draw as little attention as possible. I had my phone ready to add a new contact and just walked up when she walked by and said hey and gestured my phone to her. She looked and waved her hand, and said no I have a boyfriend, and I just said Oh and walked out.

I know I shouldn't beat myself up over it, maybe she really did have a boyfriend, but the prolonged eye contact made me feel like she was interested.
