More context: at the time I faced a scarcity mindset (I don't want to get into why), which is why my friend's rude insult towards me was able to get to me and make me sympathise with the girl more.

I know full well I shouldn't have spoken behind his back, but at the time I did so because he rudely insulted me (mixed with my scarcity mindset).

Everything's fixed now because I defended him later on when she accused him of being a creepy harasser.

My question is just if what I described in the Post is a shit test or not.
