So I was eating with my friend at a restaurant. There was a waitress (not ours) that I called over, and cracked a little flirty pun. She laughed and kept smiling as she helped her tables. I called her over again and said "Hey, I don't want to keep you from work, but let me get your number." She said "How about YOU give me your number and I'll text you." She had a big smile. I wrote my number down and handed her mine as she waited for me. I headed out and she looked back, smiled, said by from across the restaurant, and waved.

The thing is, the owner of the restaurant was there, so while I know that is normally a death sentence, would this possibly be an alright sign given the circumstances?

TLDR: Asked waitress for number, she said give her mine. I did. The owner was there in view. Is she still not likely to call back?
