Ran into a mutual friend that I have a crush on twice out and about within three days (we live in a major city close by) and had some small talk exchanged numbers the first time we bumped into each other.

I held off on texting her but after running into her again I sent her a text a few hours later saying “hey so nice running into you again earlier haha”

She hearted my message and replied saying “twice in one week! It means we need to do something in the neighborhood I think”

I tried making plans for this week but she said she was busy but asked if we can try for next? I said for sure I’ll be around and left it at that since it’s too early to plan something for next week.

What I’m concerned about is that she responded with “cool I’ll text ya” so I sort of lose control over making plans because she could very well forget.

Did I play this wrong? Did I lose my frame?
