Depends what your core beliefs about people are and how you perceive yourself. If you think people are idiots in your spare time, then it's going to be easier to send that message to people when you're expressing yourself

A lot of introverted guys lack belief in themselves and could do with being selfish. Being introverted myself, being thoughtful already, I feel like what I want to do is often the right thing anyway and I don't care what anybody else thinks about it. The line for me is my intention, cos I've spent time thinking about what I do and what's important to me. If I mean well I don't care, shit happens and often reality is messy but I'm okay with it being messy and will look to learn from it

It doesn't matter. Being a slight asshole is better than being unmemorable.

Everyone is different but just use a bit of tactfulnes and common sense. Don't be a pushover and be prepared to politely disagree with someone or explain to someone that they are wrong about a subject.

Sometimes people hate being corrected on a topic they think they know but fuck them. Facts over feelings. I do this fairly often whenever some dudebro sees I rode a sportbike to the social function and he has to tell me about the time he rode his "buddies Honda Yz ninja 900rr and went 220mph on a backroad."

Having strong opinions and not being afraid to expose them is polarization. Being an asshole means to act in offensive way.

However, someone could be offended and consider you an asshole because of your opinions anyway. This is polarization at work.
