Hi all,

Noob here, I'm atm working a bit my fundamentals to get in the mating market, and I love the idea of cold approaches. Seems fun, a good way to know people and myself and overcome some fears. Ironically I am waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer to go and experiment out in the street.

Today I got curious about how much does a woman get approached in the street, so I searched on r/AskWomen . Holy crap, if they are representative of the women in general, all I can see is deep bitterness towards cold approaches!

Topics like this, or "How do you feel about cold approaches", also "where do you like to be approached", basically say the same: don't hit on me, at least not when I'm busy, walking, talking, reading, listening to music, and outside of a bar in general. Basically never.

They are also totally bombing on the grocery store approach that I hear so often.

Now, I get it's also a numbers game and that you try 10 times and 1 will become at least a coffee together, fine with that, but do you feel like you can ruin the day of the other 9 just by trying?

I wouldn't want to ruin anyone's mood just because I'm looking for a connection.

In general, this goes against most of the stuff I read here, in books and other resources. Am I getting this wrong? Or do you feel like it's actually what's happening and most women loath being cold approached?

Thanks people!
