Look this sub has changed my life for the better and taught me things about women that every man should know, but there came a point where there was only so much more I could read and I guess I just ended up getting bored seeing the same questions and the same answers (not to mention a lot of shitty advice as well). And know looking back with some success, I find that the only advice you should be taking on here is the general stuff (dress well, workout, eat good, socialize as much as possible, be a little mysterious, etc.) And it's great that there are some specific questions that, at times can be helpful, shouldn't be your main focus. If you are all over r/askseddit asking what to do with this girl based on texts she sends, or how she reacts to what you do, I think you're missing the point a little bit. You're focusing too much on the mind games (trying to control her reaction, instead of doing what feels right with you), which won't work in the long run.
Now, I'm in college and I only can speak from my experience so I guess this post is aimed at people more my age (22) but in college, I found that my most of my success was found when I stopped caring what other people thought about me and my personality. I'm naturally pretty quiet (not really shy, I am actually kind of a party animal) but naturally quiet and was always insecure about it. Anyways I go to a party school and unless you're in a relationship you aren't having sex during the week, which is normal people are busy with school, so you better bring good game at parties. So if I had to go back and tell my wide-eyed, 18-year-old self something, I would say to stop worrying about girls. Go try and be the guy who can have the most fun at parties, and just in general, its college, live it up. Losing your virginity will happen, don't make it a big deal. Remember girls want to hook up just as much as guys, so be confident, make her laugh and go for the kiss.
This has kind of turned into what I would tell my 18-year-old self entering college post, but there's one more thing I want to say. I used to watch a lot of AMS, but a lot of his views aren't really aligned with what I want, so again, I took the general stuff and just worked on it, but one thing he said has always stuck with me, "A lot of guys problems is that they're in a rush to get fuckin comfortable." At my school, the girls date after they get to know you, they don't use dates to get to know you (which is contrary to what I see on here) so don't make it known that you want to fuck, or even you want to make her your girlfriend, just show her that you are the guy that will give her a good time every time she sees you.
