If you've been contacting them and then you "lay low" over break they'll either think that you're busy or that you're not interested/friends... They may wonder what you are up to, but if you just cold turkey stop contact, then probably not.

be you and be there. Yes, distance makes the heart fonder or whatever the saying it, but that is for when you're already a thing. I have found that with myself (and all of my friends) that being there more (there is a name for it, but I can't remember) makes you more "attractive".

I'm gonna say no. The act of being mysterious is not like it is in movies - where she is basically in love at first sight and the guy is broody/distant/quiet(because in real life that will probably just come off as antisocial or a personality disorder to be completely honest). There is only one guy I can think of where I seriously had (still kind of have..) a thing for and that was because he was just shy, but when he DID talk he was super funny/sweet/helpful, etc.
