After a meditative, sleep-deprived, drug-induced weekend, I had an earth shattering, paradigm-shifting epiphany.
In my opinion, all men are emotional. Traditionally, or at least in male social relationships, we try to repress these because they are either challenging for us to express or because the norm is not to discuss them. That's fine.
However, I believe that when you're interacting with women it is vital to be emotional. It shows that you're self-actualized.
Having said that, there is a difference between being genuinely emotional about something and providing that emotion for others to feel the same way and being an emotional vacuum/lichen. It's the same thing with providing value, your emotions are valuable if they're genuine and you aren't imposing them on others, your emotions are shitty if they're forced and you are imposing them on others.
TL;DR: If you're genuinely feeling emotional, embrace that, share it with others. It's a good thing.
