a few nights ago, this total cutie I know went to the same party I went to. We never talk much, but when we do there is crazy tension. I have a feeling we both like each other. This became apparent to me because when we talked that night she was playing with her hair and smiling a lot at me. This is probably the only sign of attraction I can recognize on the spot. I have a feeling I have good opening lines and such, but I need some help when it comes to escalation. Some tips on escalation I could always go back to would be greatly appreciated. I am rather prone to leaving a conversation early as a defense mechanism in hopes I do not make a fool out of myself. This is probably the aspect of myself I am most insecure about. I need to be more of a smooth talker since I tend to overthink things.
