I have a story about a shitty wingman...and an awesome one.

I started learning seduction in 2009. Back when there were actual communities.

I mostly hung out with 2 guys. We got along the most and had very similar philosophies when it came to seduction so we always went out together and basically grew together in all aspects of life for over a decade now. These guys are 2 of my best friends.

We would get hit up from time to time by random guys from the community wanting to go out with us because they heard about the success we were having.

So this one time we got hit up by 2 college kids.

One of them was very humble and respectful and very attentive when we were giving him advice, the other, as it turned out only pretended to listen and seemed like he was trying a little hard to flex his "successes."

After some talking we go out to approach at a shopping district.

First we approached while they watched to demonstrate the advice we gave them. Then it was their turn.

It was mostly my friend, lets call him Brandon, who was taking care of them since he's the one they hit up, while me and my other friend, lets call him Jason, just watched from a distance while also approaching girls.

The braggy kid was acting all pumped and ready to go. He was loud and gave us high fives after he saw us approach and kept acting like he was ready to kill it. The humble guy was more quiet.

But when Brandon spotted a girl and told the braggy kid to go approach her, his demeanor changed.

It was almost like his attitude turned into, "Oh, wait, we're actually doing this??!"

Bradon was like, "What did you think this was?" and told the humble kid to go approach. The humble kid also said he was nervous, but after a few words from Brandon, he actually went and did it.

Whereas the braggy one was constantly like, "I promise I'll do the next one."

And the next one came along, Brandon told the braggy kid to go, he begged to do the next one again, so it was the humble kid who ended up approaching again.

But around 2 or 3 minutes into that approach, all of a sudden the braggy kid walks into the group and starts trying to seduce the girl that the humble kid liked while taking jabs at the humble kid.

After that approach Brandon was like, "What did you do that for? That's not cool."

Then a 3rd group shows up. Brandon insisted that the braggy kid do the approach, he pushed him pretty hard to go for it. He never did until the group got too far away. So no one ended up approaching.

Then a stunning girl came along. Brandon pushed the braggy kid to go, he wouldn't, he pushed the humble kid to go, he wouldn't either. They were too intimidated.

I'm watching from a distance thinking, "if they aren't going in, I'm going."

But damn, Brandon decided to approach her himself.

So he approached her, got her giggling and squirming and out of nowhere the braggy kid tries to go in and steal Brandon's girl!

At this point I've had it. Brandon is really chill so he would have let it slide but I positioned myself behind the girl where Brandon could see me and made a throat slashing gesture.

Brandon understood.

He immediately started calling the braggy kid his little brother and made a bunch of jokes about him.

The one thing Brandon is amazing at is humor. He can make jokes out of thin air nonstop.

So he basically treated the braggy kid like a heckler at a comedy show and roasted his ass. The girl almost fell over laughing until the braggy kid just stood quietly off to the side, defeated, as Brandon was getting her number.

After that approach we took a bit of a break and all gathered together again to give the braggy kid a talking to.

We told him off about his behaviour for a bit but me being someone who also has asshole tendencies also empathised with him and explained that it was just nerves.

He was only acting a fool because he was too proud to show how he was really feeling and he had talked himself up too much he put way too much pressure on himself.

Then Brandon was like, "Yeah man, don't worry. I'll wing you and help you out. But you have to approach and stay in there for at least 2 minutes. Hunterpua, can you take the humble kid for now?"

So me and Jason took the humble kid and Brandon stayed with the braggy one.

2 girls came along and the braggy kid finally did an approach.

He was struggling a lot but he stayed in it.

Eventually Brandon went in and started talking to the other girl. He also addressed the group at times and made jokes about the braggy kid again but this time, they were jokes that made him look good, and you could see that arrogant facade melt away and he looked like he was stoked to experience what it was like to get winged by someone good.

That interaction lasted a while so I got tired of just watching.

Jason also spotted a girl and ran off to approach her, so it was just me and the humble kid.

I did a few approaches for myself so the humble kid got to see more demonstrations and then I saw a really hot girl in a group of 5.

I could tell just by looking at them that they would be a great approach for him because they'd be very warm and open but her beauty and the size of the group was too much for the humble kid.

I told him, "Don't worry about it. Just watch." Then I went in to approach.

I addressed the group and said, "Hey guys, my friend over there is really shy but he actually thinks your friend here is really cute. Would it be cool if he comes and talks to her for a bit?"

Immediately the girls were like, "Yeah, sure" and started calling him over with me.

Now he has no choice but to go in.

So it ended up being me with the 4 other girls and the humble kid talking to the hot one, one on one.

I also helped that humble kid get her number by suggesting stuff to him like, "Remember that thing you were telling me about? I think she would really like to do that."

When he got her number and we left the group he was stoked. He was saying, "I've never experienced anything like that in my life!"

I'm glad he enjoyed himself given how weird his experience was at the beginning of the day.

It was getting dark at this point so I message Jason and Brandon so we can meet back up. Jason didn't respond but on our way to Brandon we saw him inside a coffee shop on an instant date so I decided to not bother him.

When we got to the food stand that Brandon told me to meet him at, the braggy kid was the one that greeted us. I looked over at Brandon with the 2 girls they approached earlier laughing their asses off then the braggy kid told us, "they've been like that for hours."

It was all good though because the braggy kid got a number and scheduled a date with his girl, so did Brandon. This was just Brandon doing his thing now.

We ordered something and sat at a table separate from them because there wasn't space on their table anymore and just waited.

It took so long that Jason got to the food stand and Brandon was still joking around with them. We started getting impatient and signaling Brandon to wrap it up and after 10 more minutes, he finally did.

So the day started off pretty rough but by the end of it, everyone was happy, the college kids were hyped like crazy, we talked about how fun that was and at that point we just laughed about how the braggy kid acted in the beginning.

I have some stories with several wingmen.

The worst ones:

an old friend I’ve met after several years, even if he was average/good looking, he was insecure, goofy, sloppy in clothes, hygiene, traumatized by his GF dumping him one week before the wedding (which happened 10 years before we met…). We went out some times, I brought him to my usual venues, but he was unable to have interactions. One night I’ve introduced him to around 20-25 girls I had befriended there (I luckily had some friends there which brought a lot of girls friends that night). He chatted with zero girls, leaving me alone handling all those people. That’s when I have started going out solo: better alone than in bad company.
the ones that try to steal your opens, at the cost to act like a dancing monkey. Last one has been yesterday night. But he’s a friend (MrThousand), he even doesn’t recognize it, and I don’t care, because I have a different style, and in these situations it happened many times that the girls came to me anyway (which I consider a good IOI). Fighting for attention isn’t my thing. If you’re curious, I’ve got asked for the instagram by the woman, even if I barely spoken because my friend was doing his show and I let him do it while I was texting with other 2 girls.
