So a little bit of context:

I was out with the boys having a beer at the bar when the table next to us was filled with a bunch of cute girls. There was one in particular that stood out from the rest, at least for me. Now what I have learned, is that you need to lock eyes first and if she smiles or does something that gives you the green light, you approach the lady. However, she never looked at my direction. My mates insisted that I should try my luck with the others, but they also never once looked at me. My friends then tell me that eye contact isn't really that important and insisted I should go introduce myself anyway, but I refused because I thought thay jumping out of nowehere in a table full of chicks can be weird as fuck. In the end, nothing happend but the eye contact topic has been a serious debate in our group since then.

What do you guys think? Should I have approached even if none of the girls gave me a signal?
