I’m going to tell this somewhat cringey experience. What I learned from this night is something I’ll never forget. (TLDR is at the bottom)

(August/25/2019)

I was planning to meet this girl at this music venue for a dj set. I met her on tinder a week prior, we made out a few nights before the show, and I already started the needy texting and behavior. Anyway, the day the show came I was super nervous. So I went alone that night, and when I first get there, I see her with a guy in the middle of the crowd. Introductions happen, so I’m just dancing next to both the friend and her.

A couple of decent looking Latina chicks came over and started dancing with me. I made small talk with them for 5 min, a bit of kino on one, but then a couple of guys came and pulled them away. Whatever, I didn’t care too much.

Then, the main act came on who happens to be one of my favorite artists. I started really getting into my dancing and the girl I originally wanted, she started backing her ass closer to me. Still with my insecurity, I was just scared to grab her and display my interest.

I couldn’t find her shortly after that but i got shit-tested so hard once she left. A super hot blonde, with a small waist, perfectly-shaped ass came and started to dance directly 2 feet in front of me. I tried to move out of the way but she moved in the direction I was going. At one point, without me saying anything, she turned around and said, “I’m sorry but I have a boyfriend.” All I said was, “Oh, cool.” Long story short, she left after a few minutes. At the end of the night, I left alone like usual. The girl I met on tinder originally ghosted me a couple of weeks later too.

What I learned from this is you can’t just display confidence visually, but it needs to be in your dialogue too. I looked confident that night probably because I was dancing my ass off, not caring what I looked like. However my self-image screwed me.

TLDR: Blew many chances at a concert due to low self-esteem. Confidence is essential in nightgame.
