I was sitting at uni a half an hour ago, inside the cafe just doing the regular reddit browse.
One female friend (A) walked into the cafe with her friend (B - probably a 7/10 in my opinion), didn't notice me as I was sitting on the side and sat around 10 metres away from me. I noticed them, and decided to ignore for a little.
A went up to the counter to order, while B sat there. I looked up and A waved/smiled at me and I responded back. A then came back, and B went to the toilet. A asked me a question from her table, and I responded. She couldn't hear, so I said hold on I'll come there. I packed up my stuff into my bag and rocked up to the table, began speaking to A.
A few minutes later B comes, and I get introduced. I shake her hand and say its lovely to meet you. Interaction has started off well, but it goes downhill from here. Prior to my arrival, they were conversing a lot and as I sat down with them, it felt very awkward; they both were exchanging a few words only, and I was just bringing one way traffic to A asking her questions about her uni schedule. I felt like I was intruding or something. I decided I should probably make an excuse and get out of here. As soon as the thought came, they said they had to head off to class, and I said my byes, and sat there feeling weird by the end of it.
I can't really make much of this. What did I do wrong? What could/should I have done differently in order to approach B.
Cheers
