Please excuse the sintax as this is my first field report.

This took place on Friday night but there was something interesting I noticed. I went out to the bars with my new Roomie, didn’t have any high expectations just going out to check out some bars. First bar I had first encounter with these two girls, one was ok but the other was definitely cute. I saw them walking towards me and grabbed this random tray of tiny cup cakes this older lady offered me earlier in the night and she just set them on the bar from her friends party. So I approach the girls and offer them a cup cake and say there is weed in there. The girls weren’t drunk but they prob had some drinks. They both laughed and the cuter one grabbed one of the cup cakes. (Note I was being pretty outgoing and social at the moment) I also told them it was my birthday (which it wasn’t) jokingly asked about where they were from and what not. ( I felt really on my game at the moment. The uglier one then leaves, which left me with the cute girl. I then began to escalate and flick her hair and said she looked like Dora the explorer. (She did have the same hair cut as her) I some push and pulling her away and maintained eye contact the whole time. At that point I could tell she was feeling me, but just before I could get her number or anything else. Her friend come and drags her away in an instant. Never to be seen again. I prob should have escalated faster or took her somewhere more private out of her friends view.

Well moments after that I spy a girl looking all sour by herself across the room. I then run up and approach and ask her why she was so sad in a cocky joking kinda way. She had this stern prude sounding voice and she said I’m not sad. So I said what do you call the frown then? She goes just because I have a frown doesn’t mean I’m sad. So I press on and joke and ask her questions. She was still giving me a hard time, but the main clue I had was she hadn’t left yet so there was still a chance. Then out of the corner of my eye I see a guy approaching us. My initial thought was it was her boyfriend or something of the sort. The guy then stands besides me, (her and the guy look similar) I said what, you two related or something? She then said it was her brother. This is when I realized I could take the attention off her and chat up her brother. Boy did this work, as soon as i stoped giving her attention she became mysteriously really interested in me. (Hmm I wonder why?) she then opens up and she starts to have a good time with me. She then offered to buy a round of shots. So we go take shots and she is all having a good time now. As soon as the shots were done she then ran off somewhere with her brother but she waved at me. I couldn’t tell if she wanted me to follow or it was a goodbye. Either way I didn’t follow.

This set the mood for the rest of my night and I just ended up having a really good time chatting up random people. Normally I’m not this social. Safe to say if a girl doesn’t leave your presence after you initiate contact she prob still interested in you and just shit testing you!
