Today I went and approached this girl I hadn't really known, but I had seen around and it went alright. I just went up and said what's up then just asked random questions like if she listened to rap and if she was hyped for that j cole album.

It went from that to asking her about school and upcoming finals week. It felt so vanilla, like plain if you know what I mean. I was actually much calmer than I thought and she was in a group and I sort of engaged them too.

I'd like to ask; you guys what can I do to make it better? Because it felt really plain and I didn't get much emotion besides me asking if she threw away some Polaroid pic I gave to her randomly like a month ago and her denying that she threw it away even though she did.

Should I throw a joke in there, but then about what? Or tease her a bit? But how? I guess I'm asking what would you recommend to make my future interactions much more fun.
