Seems like she's still interested but shit just came up. Try inviting her out again next week. I got flaked on tonight too and there was honestly nothing I could've done to salvage it but whatever

She canceled before the event. Allow it once. Don't allow your desire to see her become too apparent or you'll lose value. If she flakes again, NEXT.

She at least had the decency in advance to let you know she can't. It seems like a legitimate excuse, what sane person at 5AM would go on a walk at 9?

Play it off like it was no biggie, ask her out again and if she flakes then realize she's not interested. But this girl seems interested, usually flakes don't even text me they aren't showing up ;)

She actually seemed really eager to see you. It's a positive. Don't think that just because shit comes up that its over. Be playful, don't stress it, and give her a chance to make it up to you.

Did you guys talk at all since this happened? Her apology seems sincere enough but I suppose you never know through text.

I agree with everyone else who says you should not take this personally, don't show her how eager you are to see her, and simply reschedule.

If she's a bartendner you may want to think about when you want to reschedule. Bartenders (or anyone in the food and hospitality industry) are busiest Thursday-Sunday nights so asking her to meet you at 9am during these days is crazy.

Think about it, many bars have their last calls at 2am but they have to stay and wait for all of the drunks to leave, and we can stay there for a while, then she has to clean and prepare everything tomorrow. So she may not even make it home until 3 or maybe 5am. I wouldnt be surprised if she just got home from work when she texted you.

So if you must meet her early in the morning at least meet her between Monday through Wednesday. Or ask her to meet you in the afternoon on her busy days.

I used to be a porter for a hotel and it was horrible. I wouldnt get home until 3 or 4am and my body was trashed. Every single limb and bone hurt, my feet were swollen. I would wake up in the afternoon the next day but I would be so sore that I had break out the ice packs. Working in food and hospitality sucks so just think about how she feels.
