Why would you wait a whole week before texting her again? That just doesn't make sense, a lot can happen in that time, let alone the fact that she might think you lost your interest.

Happens, man. She probably would have went with you all the way on the first date, based on your descriptions of her behavior, but obviously if she’s setting alarms for the next morning you’re going to be hesitant to push for her staying out.

But that’s what she wants. You to push and lead and make her submit regardless of time constraints. It’s annoying and illogical but she’s playing hard to get without even realizing it because she’s just basing the night on her emotions. The more fun she had, the later she stayed. (As a side note, if a girl ever tells you about something on her body—piercings, tattoos, birthmark—in a sexual location, always playfully push to see it; very easy way to show sexual intent on a topic she brought up.)

I recently encountered something similar on a second date, and instead of dropping the girl off, who claimed all night she had to be up early and was tired, I instead found a parking spot and led her up to her own room. In a way, it felt wrong to “take” her time but that leadership, assertion, and willingness to get rejected is exactly what emotionally turned her on.

As for the ghosting, there’s no clear indication. Sometimes waiting a week is too long for girls that are being asked out constantly. Sometimes it makes them want you more.

She should be one of like 3,4,5 or more girls that you're texting, talking to and trying to date. It gives you more practice and girls can smell it off you that you have options.

I think Corey Wayne is too old fashioned and out of date like it was written in 1995 or something.

There are better more recent text guides. They might also tell you to wait a week, but because you're texting dozens of girls that you met, tinder matches whatever.

It might have gone wrong for on the date, can't say for sure. Could just be using you for thrills or you might not have been unreactive enough. Don't know.
